UNIT OF ORGANIZATION AND INFORMATION
INSURANCE OF BLOOD TRANSFUSION SYSTEM
I. BASIC FUNCTIONS
1. Management
of resources of the blood transfusion system;
2. Collecting,
processing and generalizing of operative and periodical information about
blood transfusion system activities;

Marketing
investigations of Blood transfusion system needs of test reagents and
consumables;

Marketing
investigations and formation of strategies in the field of recruitment
and retain of unpaid blood donors;
5. Coordination
of links and relationships between NCHT and:
Ø
other blood
transfusion centers;
Ø
blood
transfusion departments in hospitals;
Ø
other
institutions and public organizations;
-
Scientific
investigations in the field of organization and information insurance of
blood transfusion services and clinical use of blood components;

Staff
qualification.
II. BASIC ACTIVITIES
1. Scientific
activities
We develop
independent projects, or in cooperation with others departments, in the
field of blood transfusion medicine. We investigate and analyze our own
and foreign experience in blood transfusion – management, finances, Know
how, processing and information technologies, motivation and retain of
blood donors, clinical use of blood components and etc.
2. Educational
activities
The department is
making plans about postgraduate education in the National center of
hematology and transfusiology. The assistants lead lectures and exercises
in long term and short term education courses in transfusion medicine.
Assistants, in cooperation with other departments and institutions,
organize and lead seminars in the field of transfusion medicine
(implementation of new technologies and methods in blood transfusion and
new requirements about activities in Blood transfusion centers in
accordance with recommendations of international organizations).
3. Manufacturing
activities
The assistants create by themselves or in cooperation
with other people working at NCHT develop:
3.1.
Proposals for strategic
development of blood transfusion system;
3.2.
Proposals for actualization
of prices of blood and blood components;
3.3. Analysis
of the activities of the different parts of the blood transfusion system,
including cost/effect analysis;
3.4.
А production plan of blood
transfusion system;
3.5.
Military and emergency plans
for blood and blood components insurance of the country;
3.6. Month
and annual reports about activities of the RCTH and manufacture department
of NCHT;
3.7. Month
and annual reports about the test reagents and consumables used in blood
transfusion system;
3.8. Suggestions
to MH about necessary amounts of test reagents and consumables for blood
transfusion system;
3.9. Suggestions
to MH about creating new and amending of old lows, normative acts,
decrees, manuals and etc. in field of blood transfusion medicine;
3.10.
Suggestions to MH about
modernizing of blood transfusion system;
3.11.
Creating a conception about
National information system of blood transfusion system and implementation
of particular software;
3.12.
Maintenance of existing
information system.
4. Organizational
and control activities
4.1. Technical,
methodical and organizational assistance of RCTH about problems of
organization of blood donation, recruitment of blood donors, medical use
of blood components, implementation of information technologies and GMP,
quality management and etc.;
4.2. Planning
of technical, methodical and organizational assistance in accordance with
requests from RCTH and CTH or by decision of NCHT;
4.3. Render
management of NCHT assistance with organizing national and regional
meetings to the points of actual problems in the field of transfusion
medicine;
4.4. Monitoring
the activities of CTH by organizing and taking part in complex control;
4.5. Monitoring
the reasonable use of the test-reagents and consumables in CTH.
