Research Activities Structure of the scientific teaching staff: NCHT has its long ago established traditions in providing highly-qualified scientific teaching staff which with its qualification in all the spheres of the transfusion and clinic hematology together with the routine curative diagnostic activities is directly engaged in research work. After the establishment of NCHT 13 dissertations have been defended there for the acquirement of MD degree and 53 dissertations for the acquirement of the degree ”Doctor”. This is a proof for the rich potential of the academic staff in NCHT. The scientific potential of the staff in NCHT comprises physicians and biologists of various age groups, degrees and ranks.
