DIVISION ” PLASMA PRODUCTS “

The division “ Plasma products “ is a part of the Production Department of the NCHT.

 

The department is specialized in the manufacturing of  plasma derived medical products for therapeutic use. The Cohn fractionation method is used followed by fine purification and ultrafiltration. These activities in NCHT started in 1987.  The raw material ( human plasma ) is obtained  from healthy Bulgarian donors.

 

Qualified personnel is responsible for the correct operation and management of the facility:

one medical doctor, one chemist, seven technologists, two operators, one technician and seven auxiliary persons.

 

About 10 000 liters of plasma are processed every year.

 

The manufactured drugs are produced  and controlled strictly in accordance with the actual bulgarian legislation and taking into account  the requirements of GMP. 

 

No complaints  after application of the plasma products manufactured in NCHT are registered during the last eight years.
